Yogi Tree Yoga Living Green Earth Friendly Yoga Mat

You will really like this yoga mat. It has a beautiful green color. This mat seems a little bit thicker than other yoga mats, but it is a perfect thickness for your stances/positioning.Always get the compliment from others when use this mat. Only one conclusion is when you use it for the first few times and your feet or hand sweat then it will slightly slippy, but problem solve using with a yoga towel or a small hand towel. But later on it is no more slip. The yoga mat is working very well.

prAna E.C.O. Yoga Mat Lime Lake Color

Manduka eKO Lite 3mm Yoga Mat

This mat replaced my pathetically ancient yoga mat that had fallen victim to my cats. I used it for the first time in a class (no time for a test run at home!), and it was so slip-proof that I had trouble correcting my stances at first (sliding a foot slightly to the left, etc.) but I think it's helped my practice a ton since I no longer have to concentrate on not slipping! I sweat a ton too, and no troubles there either. Yes, it does smell really odd...I would suggest avoiding leaving it in your car on a hot day before washing it, but after I washed it and hung it up, the smell is less noticeable.

Travel yoga mat Gaiam

Gaiam Travel Yoga Mat

Small, great for travel and hot yoga mat. I bought this mat to take along with me on a cruise, and it was perfect. I used it in my cabin room, and on the ship deck. It can be folded up like a tshirt in your luggage. It is pretty thin, but grips whatever surface you place it on without moving around like a towel would.

I have yet to try and wash it, but can't imagine it would be an issue. It folds in half nicely in case you do not have as much room, but would still like to use the mat for an ab workout.

85Inch Yoga and Pilates Mat Manduka BlackMatPRO

Manduka BlackMatPRO 85-Inch Yoga and Pilates Mat

Love this mat. Just received my mat a week ago and though I've only used it a few times, I love it! I can tell that it is extremely durable - I doubt I will ever need to cash in on the lifetime guarantee (my yoga instructor has had her Manduka mat for over 8 years and it's still going strong!). It was a bit slippery at first (though not anywhere near the slip-and-slide analogy that some have used to describe it), but I've been letting it lay out in the summer sun per my yoga teachers instructions for the past few days and I can tell that it's getting stickier (and should continue to get more so with use). Apparently the sun helps break down the film on the top of the mat and helps to break it in. The cushioning is great, and the extra length is wonderful!

soft yoga blankets Handmade Classic Mexican

Handmade Classic Mexican Yoga Blankets

Soft and economical yoga blanket. The blanket is soft synthetic material, which machine-washes and -dries very well on delicate setting. For daily yoga use it is not harsh on the skin but not as supportive as wool when rolled up. For the price it serves its purpose, but as time goes by I believe it will be replacing it with a better quality material blanket, perhaps sooner than I would like. New and after a delicate-cycle cold wash and dry, I give it a 3.5 star rating. It functions ok during yoga;
when I can afford it I will go with a better quality material.

Damask Printed Yoga Mat Gaiam

Gaiam Printed Yoga Mat (Damask)

Simple and useful yoga mat, yet cute and beautiful design. It works well and great price. I wanted a mat either with a simple peace sign, the om sign, or swirls. I decided on this one cause I didn't care for the World Peace design (don't need to be reminded of world events during yoga class). I do hot yoga, and slipped once, causing a blister on my elbow when using this mat (before I learned to use a towel.)I love the design, it's so fascinating and captivating. The mat is soft...sometimes I wish they were thicker cause it would feel better on my back, but this is the standard size. Nicely done, Gaiam.

Gaiam Printed Yoga Mat Dragon Fly

Gaiam Printed Yoga Mat (Dragon Fly)

Pretty printed  yoga mat. Started yoga and bought this prior to classes because I skeeve the idea of using a mat someone else already put their feet all over. Lightweight to carry and thick enough for me. Found no problem with the mat being slippery. Lot of compliments on the mat and the matching bag.Gaiam Embroidered Yoga Mat Bag (Dragon Fly)

Gaiam Prosperity Yoga Mat

Gaiam Prosperity Yoga Mat (Gray Peony)

Beautiful print and perfect for yoga and fitness. I use to own this mat and put it through a lot of use, at least 3-5x a week of yoga classes (all sorts, vinyasa/ashtanga/bikram). It did fairly well, It wasn't slippery, I didn't slide much and for most poses the thickness of the cushion was enough. It also wasn't too heavy so it's a good portable mat to have if you plan on bringing it with you for classes right before/after work. However after about half a year of heavy usage for me, the mat did start to slowly deteriorate and crumble at certain areas where the hands and feet are in contact usually (it might be from your nails grazing on it). Still usable but it just doesn't look very nice when small holes on the mat where pieces crumbled off starts to appear.

It's a really great looking mat though, I loved the subtle gray color and large peony pattern -it was very pleasant to practice yoga on. If you're planning to use it on a light to medium basis, then I think this would be a great mat for the price. However, if you're a regular yogi who will be relying on your mat a good few times a week, then I'd suggest a different mat to invest in since you spend so much of your time on it!

Super thick 5mm yoga mat Gaiam Chai

Gaiam Chai 5mm Premium Yoga Mat

Excellent for begining yogis. I am a beginning yoga and as such, was unsure as to whether I would stick with the practice. I was going to order the least expensive Yoga Mat on the site, but then found, by the reviews of others, that a degree of "stickiness" is required to prevent slipping for an effective and safe Yoga Practice.

This mat is perfect for me. Absolutely no slipping as I struggle to adjust to unkown poses and crank my head around to see how to perform a pose, .very comfortable and cushy as well.

I highly recommend this for a beginner, especially if you are concerned about making a larger investment and are unsure of whether you will continue to use the mat. Spend a few more dollars over the cost of the bargain basement mats and provide yourself with comfort and stability.

Extra long deluxe Yogaaccessories mat

71in Manduga PROlite Travel Yoga and Pilates Mat

Manduka 71-Inch PROlite Travel Yoga and Pilates Mat (Purple)

It's great mat, thicker mat but light, not heavy at all, very comfortable to travel with.

These guys make the best mats out there. My last one held up for 8 years (the thickest ones last even longer, I'm told), and this one is even better. While I was enjoying my old mat, they were clearly making product improvements...Amazon also saved me 10% to 15% versus other sites.

Manduka eko 71inch 5mm mat review

Manduka eKO 71-Inch 5mm Eco-Friendly Yoga Mat is a wonderful mat. But before ordered this mat I used another eco natural mat, Earth Elements by Hugger Mugger. Eko mat is lays flat to the ground , not curled edges, also a little wider and longer enough for all movement than the old one. It's sticky that keep the position and pose. The rubber not smell so bad when first open it and fast go away. This mat is a bit high cost but it worth and you always can buy the best deal at amazon.
