Excellent for begining yogis. I am a beginning yoga and as such, was unsure as to whether I would stick with the practice. I was going to order the least expensive Yoga Mat on the site, but then found, by the reviews of others, that a degree of "stickiness" is required to prevent slipping for an effective and safe Yoga Practice.

This mat is perfect for me. Absolutely no slipping as I struggle to adjust to unkown poses and crank my head around to see how to perform a pose, .very comfortable and cushy as well.

I highly recommend this for a beginner, especially if you are concerned about making a larger investment and are unsure of whether you will continue to use the mat. Spend a few more dollars over the cost of the bargain basement mats and provide yourself with comfort and stability.
